Correction to earlier review - this does work

I couldn\'t get this to work at first, just got a balloon along the top edge of the screen telling me something was plugged in. However, unplugged it and tried again later, just left it turned on a few minutes logged on to the internet. To my surprise, after a few minutes it seemed to recognise the adapter and loaded up the internet. The X5A I have runs smoothly with an ethernet cable plugged in, wi-fi turned off. So for £6.00 I can now use the X5A either through the wi-fi or through ethernet to access the web, whichmakes it great for travelling.

Don\'t know how to get it work

As in the title, I can\'t get it work on my haipad m701 hy. I connect it to the tablet through the usb to mini usb adapter included with the pad. After a while a small balloon icon appear in the status bar above. But after that nothing happens. I tried connecting my lan cable and checked if internet was working, but I found it wasn\'t. I checked if a \"LAN\" option appears in the settings section, but with no results. So I can I get it work, and, for example, set the ip and everything else for the LAN connection? Thanks!!

You need to use a router, so the tablet can get ip address automatically. The ip address cannot be input, it must be get automatically, so you need a router.
